Meehan was slower than treacle in winter. You simply can't sit on the sidelines for 2 years then fight top notch figthers & expect to win.

Watched the vid of the public ring session the two did, and even though Kali trainer was just walking him through some padwork, he just looked slow as can be.

 

Contrary to what somebody already said, I thought Meehan lacked any power to stop Chagaev. Everytime he threw a punch or power punch,Ruslan just easily blocked it with his glove..Meehan was really slow, once he throws the punch, Ruslan was quick to throw his money punch (straight left counter).

 

Good fight now is Kali v Leaapai ! that would see where Leapai is at!

 

That would be an interesting match up Joe. I'd like to see Kali square off against Cameron as well.
