Lets get him a fight with the Klitschko's.:yep All seriousness if he doesnt retire, & you were someone like a Chisora or Helenius looking for a quick easy bout you would want Kali for 2 rounds work.
Jesus ****in christ who was that idiot who stated that Meehan should get a crack at the Klitschko's. And they reckon their boxing fans.
I dont follow the hw division much at all but kali looked in terribke condition tonight. Did he train for that? Never seen him that slobby looking. Well done to walker, he trained hard obviously and got the ko. Sounds like a great character who is proud to be here. Onya travis! :good
I agree Travis has been on the road alot lately & good on the Heavyweight fringe contender coming in decent shape & getting the KO.
Walker was knocked out be Manuel Quezada who was KO by Bowie Tupou. Bowie would add some spice to the scene if he returns back to OZ
Kali's prep was not the best no excuses Travis was the better man tonite and was in super buckle, speaking to Travis after fight he is desperate for fair crack with Alex and he was telling me he has been blown away by the support he has had on this forum after the last fight with Alex As for Kali he will sit down and decide whats best for him in the coming week,if he duz dede to retire he can be proud of the way he has always fought and handled himself, its easy for keyboard warriors to get on here and say good riddence etc his retiring but im 100% proud to be apart of team Meanhands as its been a great journey and one hell of a ride
Well done Kali on his long career which has taken him all around the globe & back.:good Came oh so close against Brewster too, to almost win a version of the world heavyweight title. Its best he calls it a day now, i think we all know prime Kali would have done much better than tonight...credit must go to Walker for showing up for not just his B side paycheck.
Hats off to Kali, he's a classy guy and his team are great. Travis is absolutely delighted with his win, as are the rest of us. He made a big statement tonight and fought to the game plan that was put in place. As mentioned by Kegsy, he's been a road warrior and really wants to come back. He absolutely loves the fans here.
Wish him well in whenever he heads to next around the globe. Definitely gives it an old fair shake whoever he is up against & they will be in for a fight.
As soon as I seen meehan come into the ring , I thought wat the f##k !.... Out out condition , slow, timing off.... Not picking off with the jabb, when he clearly had the reach. Showed his age tonight and lack of fights -(courtesy of king) caught up with him... He couldn't thro more than 2 in a row and looked puffed the entire time ..... Deff time to retire !
Sadly true, although meehan can still hold his head high. Pretty substantial career for a heavyweight from the southern hemisphere.
Walker is my favourite type of fighter.... big punch but a weak chin so it can end at any moment... him vs Leapai was an amazing stoush
You're right unlike the Walker/ Leapai fight Meehan was doing well but one punch changed the fight. He did look unfit he should get more active if he wants to continue.
