If you honestly think Brewster beat Meehan that night, I'm glad you're not a judge. I don't even think Lamon thought he won. Williamson is a solid hit out, Meehan got the job done. I don't think anyone here is calling him the second coming of Joe Louis, but he's gives his all.

Is he a Kiwi or an Aussie? Well, he calls himself Australian. Good enough for me.

I am only giving you guys some ****, like most of my aussie mates give me. although they have gone awfully quiet over the olympics , bit like they did during the rugby world cup.

Meehan gives his all, so do plenty of guys, if he is deemed world class unfortunately that would say more about the state of the heavies than about him.

Put him in with Lewis, Holyfield, McCall, even people like Ruiz and he would get creamed. I only saw highlights of the Brewster fight so could not score it but the commentators were not screaming robbery and none of the publications i read did either. But Brewster is not top drawer is he ?

Australia is good at sports , but boxing is not one of them.

Yes he did , but Tua was a **** load better than Danny Williams. And Tua did not win the world title did he , no he just lumbered around the ring getting jabbed silly by Lennox Lewis.
