Someone was on here not long ago banging on about how Kirby give Kali a going over sparring and had a "video" of it,spose we will find out soon weather or not they were talking out of there ass!!! Meehan in a walk for mind round 5/6.....

 

Kali has to expect Kirby to be constantly trying to close the distance by coming forward keeping the pressure on forcing Kali to fight on the inside or on the back foot.
Thats Kirbys style and that will be his game plan.

if Kali can establish his jab and create distance he should be able to pick him off at leisure.

have a look at kirby's last fight,the last few rounds young edwards was catchin him on the way in,if kali does that straight off the bat it wont last long i reckon,but if kirby can fight the way he usually does its gunna b a beauty,good luck to both of them,great match up i reckon

 

I was at the gym last night, there was no sparring sadly, I was looking forward to a few rounds myself. We had the CFMEU there, they're doing an article on Bomber and the gym for their quarterly magazine. There was sparring on Wednesday though, with boys from Murphy's over for some rounds, all too light for me, some good sparring though.

 

I'm behind Mik too, I hope he wins it. My head logically says Meehan should get this, but I'm backing Mik, if he whips himself into shape and sheds a few kg's that are just tagging along for the ride, he should be able to surprise a few people.

 

Unless Kali's gotten old all of us sudden he should win this comfortably.

 

should be some useful rounds for kali if he wins.

Kali will knock his head of if he box Kirby. Kirby got no devence and he think he can use his forearms but his left is way to low for that. He is a punching bag and the only reason he last against Ben was because ben was not fit and prepared for the fight.:good

 

Are you really the alter ego of some suburbanite pencil pusher called something like Kevin Mills or some such, VB Man? Looking at what you write and your spelling and grammar, I can imagine mild mannered Kevin getting home from work, having dinner with his family then having a few coldies before turning into 'VB MAN', along the lines of Bruce Banner/The Hulk.

 

Kirby lacks a jab...which basicly gives him a "snowflakes" in this one...
