He didn't qualify, so I didn't include him or Christopher Downs. I only included the actual Olympians who qualified.
The only colors that matter when you're part of Team USA are Red, White, and Blue. Oh, yeah, and Gold.
I really hope that both Warren and Andrade get the golds. Not only is it a great achievement in itself, but it would really propel them to a special start to their professional careers. From the looks of them, both fighters appear as though they are going to translate pretty well to the professional game. With Warren, it will sure be nice to have an impressive American below featherweight. As for Andrade, he could very well be groomed for stardom with his size and ability. Very excited for the games to begin, in general. I can't wait to see Islam Timurziev decapitatin' fools.
Yeah, that's Luis Yanez. The picture that follows that one is him winning Gold at Pan Ams. He's 106, so I don't think KOs really factor into it. Watch the video I posted of him. he's pretty damn good. Watching his video again, I just have to say: I know it's early and he's not a pro; but we could really be looking at someone very special with Rau'shee Warren. A Two-Time Olympian, and if he wins Gold a World Amateur and Olympic Champion; and he has everything you want in a pro. His style already more resembles a professional style than a classical amateur; he fights to try and take guys out, not to play the computer.
