Hey man she's a catch in my book. Objectively she's extremely unattractive, but my type.

Ok? Let her say that she can, saying that you can beat up a woman doesnt make you any more of a man

She isn't really a MW, it's just that she's so far ahead of all but one competitor she can win while (I can't believe this is taking up space in my brain) maintaining the fuller figure that she prefers for aesthetic reasons.

If she was a man she would have to trim down to 130 or so. That feels like more like it. She would get clowned by any MW but at 130 perhaps the power is turned down low enough her boxing skill can start to do something (to a low level appointment).

Either she is just trying to hype herself, or she has seen one too many woke TV shows/movies where the woman has superior physical strength to the man.

Likely it is some combination of the two and she half believes her own bull****.

Why would you sexually harass her like that Mark?
I guess you get credit for honesty, but that was a foolish & harassing thing you said-& that is not even assuming that you were trying to be actively cruel.

Honesty would not be a defense-if I am attracted to a woman I cannot ethically just walk up to her & tell her what I want to do with or to her.

Don't be cruel & ignorant, throwing around sexist attacks like "ugly broad" is petty & vicious.
We already had a very discerning, intelligent post about both how woman would be over-matched against a competent boxer (absolutely true), & mainly how an average big guy would be beaten like a rented mule, exhausted & hsi fragile ego decimated if he fought someone like her.

Unfortunately the dude also made a gratuitous, itterly foolish & unsupported comment that woman are inferior in creative & artistic endeavors.
Which you do not need to have run an arts festival for years in a major city or had an arts publication like I have to know is completely bonkers/bollocks.
    Now he is banned.

We have someone else called on being "rapey" directly to her on social media.
Savoring her being harmed is beneath any decent man.
Despite her immaturity or delusional state re: her capacities.

She's friends with Wilder, what did you expect ? It's the same delusion and arrogance that they feed people in US.

This is all reasonable, except you are referring to a match from 24 years ago, Serena was 16 & not near the top player yet, nor was Venus quite there.
They would have done better in their prime, but maybe around outside of the top 350 is realistic.
A few above that they would beat, & lose to some below.

Let's just watch Shields vs Inoue and be done with it. #metoo might come out with some ridiculous sentiment, but at least we could settle this once and for all.

PS there was a time people were saying Ronda Rousey would beat Floyd.

PPS I think Inoue would settle this in the first round.

Remember when they said Rousey was the most dominate sports person of all time and would have to consider fighting men...I member.

I think part of the roots of this is that Claressa spars male boxers (as do most of the heavier top women boxers). She asks them not to go easy on her. They say they won't go easy on her (so as not to hurt her pride) and she being prone to grandiose delusion and whatever supports her ego narrative of being the GWOAT- she believes them. After thus handling the 'power' of several males- including Earl Spence- she has vastly inflated notions of her ability, and her ability to take a punch. It's noticeable how her trainers and interviewers suck up to her GWOAT narrative, so she sinks deeper and deeper into delusion. Enter Savannah Marshall.
