Meeting and seeing boxers outside the ring

The best thing to ever happen to me is that golden boy had some of his fighter's here fight in my home town and Marquez was there with DHL, I offer them a after party in my house and DLH refused but Marquez actually came! It was one of the best nights ever for us! Marquez is so humble! I will put that picture that picture here in my avatar, other I saw was Canelo when he was like 18 in a Chavez exhibition fight in Mexico .

 

Personally I’ve met and spoke with cotto , wlad, vitali, ggg, kavaliauskas, kovalev , Fury.

 

Ricky Hatton - used to be in local pubs n clubs all the time, my dad was his postman.. Asked him to sign a pair of gloves fir my bday

Bryan rose - walked past me in the village gym with Bobby rimmer

Mariusz wach - eyeballed him in the gym for ten minutes trying to figure out where I knew him from.. He was eyeballing me back..... Saw him again on my way out n said hello to him in polish, he was sound.. Spoke little English and he had a picture with me

Tyson fury - few days after his fight with rich power I was on the **** on deansgate locks.. I was **** faced and fell through the toilet door cis it opened as I pushed it.. I near enough headbutted this giant in his p nis

I looked up saw who it was and said ****in hell... I thought you were a big **** on the telly.

He laughed said hi and I spent ten minutes chatting to him in the toilet about boxing, he was a really sound bloke, no hairs or graces or ego.. He literally had no reason to talk to me considering how we met..... My mate came in the toilet saw us talking and then asked for a pic.. I took the picture of them.. Fury said his goodbyes and left.... Then my mate turns to me n says "whose that... Some cage fighter"

Resulting in me calling my mate a bell end for not taking my picture with him... There's probably a few more

Next are Matchmakers. It's a good profession for anybody who likes meeting boxers.

 

I met the Hatton brothers, both are cool guys

 

Ricky was one of my favorites.

 

I met Chris Eubank in Fortnum and Mason in London last year. A really nice guy, I got a photo with him and had a brief chat about his fights with Benn in the 90s.

 

I saw Lionel Rose in my house!

 

And he was 40 back then aswell .

Karl Ince - not a nice chap.

 

Calzaghe at Paddington station. Did not want to chat to me.

Darren Barker in Oxford Circus on the Monday after he lost to Martinez looking all bruised. Spoke to me and my wife for 5 minutes. Nice guy

My dad met AJ about a week after he won the Olympic gold. Walking down Watford high street with a massive entourage. My dad went straight up to him and shook hands, they talked boxing for 5 minutes. Said he was a nice bloke

 

Saw Calzaghe walking down a random street in Barcelona. He was dead nice and happy to have a chat and a photo.
