    It didn't seem real. He was a tiny person. 5' 4", maybe 5' 6".

Met and trained with Lawrence Okolie - really nice and down to earth.

Met Kevin Mitchell as well at Peacock's Gym back in the days.

Impressive ! A quote from Gains " He sure was something to see, he had this silk dressing gown, hair partied down the middle, with lots of grease, and his face was heavily powdered, in any other line of work he could have been mistaken for a dude, lots of fighters copied his hair style, no one could copy his fighting style, everything went with ----- , if he missed you going forward, he would hit you going back, he was a master of roughing you up with the lases, and no one was more adept at gouging your eyes, yes he sure was something to see " you know who don't you.

About 4 or 5 years ago I took my son to the Horniman museum in South London. They had an exhibition for kids. Upon entering the exhibition, who should be in there but David Haye with his son. I chatted to him briefly. Nice chap and he told me he was coming back because his shoulder had healed up. This was before it was officially announced, so I guess I got the inside scoop. He was taller than I expected and built like a statue.

Other than the 36 boxers ive met for autographs at their hote;l or the gym they were training at, I saw Samuel Serrano twice randomly as a little girl, once at a Roller Derby game and another time at a Chinese food restaurant , both in Puerto Rico.

The second time I went up to him and chatted.

months later my dad found out where he lived at, asked him if we could visit and he said he'd be glad to have us, so we dd!
