The bigger the name the nicer the guy , i suppose they have less to prove.

Met a British Super Feather champion once who acted like a complete **** and on the same night met Lennox Lewis , he was a gentleman.

Lewis is known to be a nice guy.

Which is why Americans dislike him (besides not being American)

Alex Arthur , acted like a complete knob , right up his own ass , and this was after I complemented him on a recent win.

    Karma.

The next time I will talk to him my response will be

'no just a regular meal please' :D

I've met Tyson a handful of times at different spots in Cleveland. He was a regular at Hot Sauce Williams BBQ........shared a plate with him...well....he bought us all our dinners:D.

Back when I was an autograph hawk, got him to sign multiple times.....gloves, NIKE hat, shirt at the Tower City Mall.
In the last few yrs though, his body guards got a bit frisky. And my wife's dad says he was a jerk last time he met him at HSW. :think

That's a shame he seems like a nice guy on Ringside.

I wouldn't say I've met them so much as run into a few, let's see, the late Diego Corrales.. Oneill 'supernova' Bell....and Carl Froch shortly b4 the Ward fight.

was second nicest boxer I have ever met - took about 10 more pictures with fans after he said he had to go. But his star power isn't off the charts, so who knows.

    Breidis Prescott
    Amir Khan
    Tim Bradley
    Jamie Kavanaugh
    Zab Judah
Kermit Cintron (this guy was an absolute ****)
Manny Pacquiao (saw from 20 feet away, did not meet)
    Peter Quillin
    Nonito Donaire
Andre Ward (kind of a dick)
    Fernando Montiel
    Devon Alexander

How is Prescott? Do you speak the same language?

Don't speak the same language. He seemed apathetic to fans. Shook some hands and left.

How about Bradley? Always seems like a good guy.

    And Khan??

Bradley is pure class and happily mugged for fans at the NYC presser for the Pacquiao fight. He went from the end of the line to the front. But sadly, everyone was mostly waiting to catch a glimpse of Manny Pacquiao.

Khan was cool, but a bit Hollywood (kinda of fake, hurry to leave).

I mean, I don't have sit downs with them. Just brief hellos from fights. But in those short moments, it says a lot about them. Pacquiao signed autographs after the conference, but if he obliged every photo request and autograph, he'd be there for hours.

Met Pat Crerand in Manchester.Stopped and shook hands.Yeah, know hes not a boxer!
Met Robbie Davies, when I recognised him said he hadnt been very good(ABA champ and a good pro)Had a good laugh.
Carl Thompson at a show.Hes ex worldcruiser champ,im nobody.HE spoke to me.Wish id asked him abouy his career.Seemed a top lad.
Alan Richardson ex(i think}British feather champ,a few times.Modest, really nice guy.
Ryan Rhodes many times.Absolutely a terrific, interesting (not just about boxing)guy.
Johnny Nelson.Almost bumped into him.Mentioned i knew his mate John Keeton(british
cruiser champ)Spoke for 10minutes,nice guy and as youd expect, funny.Keeton is even
funnier IMO and also decent fella.
On the other hand, once met a county cricketer who thought he was a mars bar and rude
with it.So much so that i had to tell him i thought so.
AND If Johnny had been the same,
Id have kept my effin mouth shut!!!
