I know what you mean with Khan, I get the impression he thinks he's above everyone.

I met Pacquiao the day after the Marquez Pacquiao 3 fight. He was walking around playing slots at a casino, I think it was the MGM. Was talking to some dude from his team while he played and was able to get a picture. Its funny, I remember his wife was playing a "The Hangover 2" slot machine while he was playing a "Sex in the City" one lol.

I've met a few. The nicest:
Chris Byrd. Took a pic with him at a fight and then saw him a week later at a sporting goods store opening where I got him to sign it. His wife is very nice too. Talked to my son while I was talking to Chris.
Same experience with Malignaggi as noted above.

One of Jesus Soto-Karass' cornermen was really nice. I was sitting ringside at one of his fights cheering for him as he walked in. He threw me his shirt. Then after the fight he brought Soto-Karass over. Introduced me to him. Got him to sign the shirt and took a pic of us.

Clinton Woods was pretty nice. Although, it was at a Hatton fight in the U.S. I think he was just surprised that an American recognized who he was.

Michael Moorer is just as grumpy as you'd expect.

I've met others: Nonito, Zab, Guerrero, P Ayala, Kevin Kelly. Probably a half dozen more.

when i went to Pacquiao v Hatton i met and spoke to Pacquiaos brother (Bobby) during the weigh in, he signed a hat for me.
Also i met after the fight Jim Watt, what a terrific bloke, had a beer in the MGM bar and a great chat, he sounded just like when he was commentating except in the flesh he chucked in a few swear words it was really funny. he was giving Hatton a grilling as well.

What did he say about Hatton? Hatton Tweeted before saying Watt doesn't like him.

Ward brushed by a group of 4 or 5 people waiting to meet him and he didn't acknowledge them at all. Does this make him a dick? Not really, but when a few people are around, and it's a very small group, and you're not a superstar that gets mobbed, it wouldn't kill you to pose for a few pictures.

good thread this is, keep them coming guys, iv met a couple. met vitali klitchko at the wbc convention in cardiff, really nice guy, spent ages with the fans and made sure everyone got a pic or autograph. met barrera at at one of them evening with events, excellent company and stayed on for about 2 hours wen it finished, his team were trying to charge for him to sign stuff but wen the man asking for money wasnt there he told this guy who was with him interpreting to call whoever wanted stuff signed over and he signed them for free. met joe calzaghe a few times, really down to earth, took a poster i got from the kessler fight to his gym and he signed it no probs and showed me around his gym, talked about some of his past fights, top bloke. also nigel benn, eubank, kessler, and a few others. all really nice. the only one i found to be up his own arse was the boxing binman, rendall munroe.

My boxing coach met Floyd Mayweather jr in the Palms Casino nightclub after the Pacquiao v Cotto fight in 2009. Said he was quite a loner actually, he was buying his friends in the nightclub by flashing his cash. i was quite suprised.

My coach is really funny, likes barrier jumping in major fights, has got pics with sugar ray, david beckham, amir khan, miguel cotto.
