Mega-Bout: Golovkin Should FIght Kovalev In Russia.

He can get the WBC belt, but why? It won't make him any money with no one to fight at 160.
Like Vlad, He'll just be known as the fighter who unified in the division's weakest and talent shallow era. Where's the accomplishment in that?

Mayweather isn't interested in fighting Golovkin. GiGi is a nobody and isn't worth Duke Mayweather's time. Had Little g stepped up and fought defeated Ward, BHOP and Lara, perhaps Mayweather would be interested. But he ducked them and is a nobody.

Why should Mayweather fight a nobody like GiGi when he can fight a somebody like Pac or Khan and earn 2-3x the money? Doesn't make sense from any direction.

 

I knew there were GiGi fans who would be interested in this fight.
Kovalev can't leave the LHW division when it's just about to heat up, but he could go to Russia to make as much money as Froch made off of Grove.
GiGi might not take it though. He's not as daring and eager to make real history as Kovalev.
