    Would have been one for the ages, the undisputed MW champ, fighting the undisputed SMW/LHW champ, both unbeaten, popular, one entering his prime, the other just leaving his.

    A great stylistic matchup. Jesus, this one ranks alongside any of them the more you think about it.

    Forget being a nuthugger making excuses for Calzaghe for a minute - ''Pavlik is garbage, has fought nobody, Calzaghe has proved enough'' etc....

    This fight would have been HUGE, probably the biggest fight in boxing now that Cotto-Mayweather seems impossible. Such a shame this one didn't come off, I guess we can still hope it does.
