He's 6'3 with a big frame and fought at 185 in WSB i always though he looked better physically at the weight although being able to cut weight the day before in the pros will help out alot.

I could see him and Beterbiev moving up to CW in a few years. Maybe once Usyk moves up to HW?

Besides his unreal power Beterbiev is very stiff and mechanical. He has the power but not the finess.

Gvozdyk definately, Gvozdyk is the real deal..

Beterbiev is a monster, but I believe he will have stamina problems as the fights go longer..

Mekhonstev was an excellent amateur but didn't look too good in the last couple of fights ive seen him in...

He still looks like a wild amateur, he's not progressing. At the recent worlds he was absolutely toyed with in the final, and imo he didn't deserve to be there in the first place. He would make a terrible pro with his style, he is ugly to watch.

Mekhonstev has not impressed me as a pro yet, I was really excited when he turned pro though, so hopefully improves. I like Bivol though, he looks really sound.

I don't think Top Rank have done the best of jobs with Gvozdyk.

I still have hope for him.He needs to keep his nose to the grind stone and try to adapt his style to the pros.

Well spoken, mate! I for one still have the hope that he will show some more convincing fights within the next couple of months.
Me,too-I like Bivol ............as a fighter.
I watched his interview one of our fellow posters posted here on esb.He lacks charisma and ready and "coruscating" wit.
He still doesnt realize that he is now at the pros where money is the name of the game and where you have to sell yourself as well as you can.
Well, most russian speaking fighters lack aforementioned ability.

Why did so many people vote for Mekhonstev ..

he was a beast in the amateurs, at the Olympics he went through everyone like a hot knife going through butter.. destroyed them all.

But he has surprisingly not been as impressive as a pro, it's very surprising to me as I though he would be made for the pros as he was very aggressive and hard hitting as an amateur.

Beterbiev is on ESPN this weekend. He's the best, because he's a durable beast who punches perhaps as hard or harder than Kovalev
