Brizzi Bros. Boxing Gym, Kingsbury: a couple of guys you size there, plenty of lads come across for sparring. Ben Brizzi is VABA matchmaker so fights never a problem. Been in the game for years; knows his stuff.

Northside Boxing Gym, Preston: plenty of young blokes here (< 20). A couple of talented fighters, but no real bigger guys. Seems to produce good fighters.

Just going off memory here.. been out of it a while. Im pretty sure Rocket (Rod?) Carr has a gym in Footscray. But there are gyms everywhere over that way. Theres a second one in Kingsbury; one at Keon Park; one in Heidleberg.. thats off the top of my head. There all with 20mins of each other, and close enough to Footscray.

Whatever you do though, make sure you go to a gym in the Victorian Am. Boxing Assoc. (VABA). The VABL (Vic Am Boxing League) is for spuds and is a laugh. Same for Global.
