I'm just throwing a few duets on, focusing on 6 horses, i'l probably do 3 diffrent trifectas as well, this race worth the punt, cause the divedends are always huge lol (so many ****s betting)


Evryones got SO YOU THINK to win comfortably, but most forget this race is nearly double the length of the mackinnon, & very short turnaround....But anyways, i'l always stick with the outsiders lol

im throwing 20 on harris tweed , looks to be alright especially with the heavier track, and maybe involve shocking in there aswell

 

Havent had a bet on this race since I was in year 8.

It's still great though as we get a day off work or a pay out.

 

I'm going with the hype - 20 clams on So You Think will do me. Been pretty impressed with this horse lately but his age and experience will get tested today.

big spill in todays paper about cummings horse So you think. Worth a punt indeed at those odds and i think cummings has had around 13 melbourne cup winners, i think Precedence could steal the show. Those are my two picks.

Don't think so you think will get the 2m in the soft, so I like Shocking (bad draw though) and Maluckyday with Manighar the pick of the rest of the world.

 

dont know wholl win the cup but my first bet of the day was 25 each way on macedonian and got up so im happy todays a free betting day

 

I backed Shocking about a month ago at $9 he's out to $11 now due to the bad barrier however he is the proven stayer and he won the race with gate 21 last year albeit with a lesser weight.
I think the main danger is maluckyday number 24 this horse is well and truely on the way up and has untapped ability.
The best rougie is no 19 holberg ridden by Frankie Dettori from the mighty godolphin stable definately worth an eachway bet.

If you have any cash left after the cup there is a massive rougie in rce 8 no.11 right fong at 30-1 it won a race on this day last year at 16-1 and is well worth a small eachway bet.
