Well if they want to sue for slander then sure, they have every right. It's the WBC that needs to handle Wilder for booking a flight before the announcement. For all we know he already knew, or was misinformed, or he's just stupid. Nobody can say definitively he bailed on the fight because nobody knows what he was told. I'd imagine Wilder and Povetkin hear the decision before we do, they're the inside parties, why would they have to wait until the WBC makes a public statement?

Actually, Wilder leaving Europe prior to the bout doesn't mean ****, if the fight were still on, he'd have to fly back out.
