The positive tests casts suspicion. That's like finding the murder weapon with my prints wiped off. The whole delay was because they can't determine WHEN he took it. The fight was rightfully delayed, that way they can make sure he's clean by the time it's rescheduled.

He's under orders from big Al. When you've got a $34m lawsuit pending best keep schtum.

WBC must strip him or it sends out the message you can run from signed mandatory fights for no reason other than speculation.

4 clean tests, 2 dirty, and then a clean one is inconsistency.

Did the contract state Wilder must be in Europe the week of the fight?

    a
I don't even like Wilder and I'm defending him because it's stupid to blame him. People are just looking for an excuse to blame Wilder. Sure, his resume is trash and I don't think he's a top heavyweight, but be real. If Wilder is scared then Povetkin is a cheater. Can't pick and choose.

Wilder can't force ****. If he flies back to the US all the WBC has to do is call him up privately and tell him to get his ass back across the pond and that he's still under contract.

wilder forced them by acting on their weakness which is to be PC

The wbc jumped the gun and they have understood this by now hopefully next week they will clear povetkin and we get the fight

What's to stop any other wbc holder breaking signed contracts on speculation or hearsay? The wbc should never have postponed the fight after he ran, that's the only reason he might keep his belt. The wbc are complicit in this, especially allowing the Arreola hotdog fight to go ahead. I mean, wtf is that? It's a disgrace.

Wilder doesn't have anything to worry about. If the fight goes on, it would have given him one more tune up in between. He will be fresher than Povetkin.

People who are talking about Wilder running and that he should be forced to fight this year, will be surprised (and of course in full support) when Povetkin requests another tune up, beforehand...delaying the fight until next year. And if it does happen this year by chance, they will make excuses if Povetkin loses.

Wilder waited long enough for this Melodium junkie. The WBC said it was canceled. So, it was CANCELED...end of story. He made another fight. Big deal. Melvetkin trying to sue WIlder is nonsense. Is the WBC being sued as well? How about WADA and VADA?

The thing is though wilder announced that the fight was cancelled straight away, the wbc only released a statement days later. The Russians weren't informed the fight was off until the wbc statement so it wouldn't make sense that they told wilder anything either. The bottom line is he would have been smarter keeping he's mouth shut and waiting for the wbc decision , and that could end up costing him

Even if he did stay in Europe the fight would've still been delayed. We still wouldn't have a fight right now, we wouldn't have the Arreola fight either though...

the boxing voice put up 4 videos with him this week. one was all about povetkin, one mentioned him, one didn't and one was sparring footage. 50% is as close to always as it is to never.

No if wilder never cried to the wbc they would of allowed the fight to happen then they would do their investigation after the fight

even wilder said in one clip he could of fought him but his team told him not to "i could of fought him but i would be giving a bad message that its ok to cheat"

that means he could of fought him
