Meldonium traces found in small amounts before 1 october 2016 are legal

In one hand you say Wilder wanted the fight and in the other you say he cried to cancel it. Get your **** together.

 

The WBC was very careful not to use the word "canceled", which might imply the fight may never happen. They said it was "postponed" pending the investigation. However, they CANCELED the fight scheduled on May 21. And they have not set a new date.

Wilder did the right thing. If he didn't, he should be stripped. But, he won't. So, don't get your hopes up.

alexthegreatmc makes some good points in this thread which I agree with, as neither a Wilder or a Povetkin fan, my opinion is that neither fighter was at fault for this fight not happening, it was just a case of unfortunate circumstances.

Can people stop with the "Wilder is ducking Povetkin" accusations, it's getting stupid now, who in the right mind would want to miss out on their biggest payday!

 

Yep, Alex makes a lot of sense. I think people's frustrations with Wilder spring from him taking soft touches whilst delaying his mando for as long as possible. Therefore they want to blame him as they think of him as being reluctant to fight Povetkin.

If this had happened after he first won the belt or his first defence I don't think people would be so quick to slam him.

Let's just say this. It's not Wilder's fault that Povetkin had traces of meldonium in his body. I don't hold it against him that he didn't want to fight a guy who was possibly on peds.

It IS Wilder's fault that he ran his mouth calling Povetkin and his team a bunch of cheats and that they wanted to murder him.

If he gets his ass sued to oblivion its the fault of him and his motormouth.

The fight was never cancelled, and it needs to happen ASAP.

 

Fat Dan, and I assume those news stations too, carefully chose their words, with mentioning just that he tested positive for Meldonium, which is correct. No mentioning of the word "failed" or "cheat" were used.
Dan suggested that clean, clean, clean, positive, clean was suspicious, but never outright accused Povetkin.

Wilder on the other hand called him a drug cheat and expressed that he should get a lengthy ban.
Also his "fight not postponed, but cancelled!" thing suggested that the WBC/VADA was behind him on that.

 

Ya i read back through fans tweets on it all ,he was very smart with how he used he's language

Now if he was to go after dontaes boxing nation they could have that site shut down and have dontae wiping he's behind for the rest of he's life

I think a lot of youtubers don't really understand that they can be held accountable for what they say and slander and miss documenting evidence could get them in huge trouble

 

Firstly, his trainer said that first and I'm suspecting that WBC told him it was cancelled and that's why he said it on twitter.

Wilder will get in 0 trouble, mark my words.

Povetkin IS a drug cheat and he should be banned. He was caught **** hot and had an extremely shady test.
