Honestly, it changes nothing. Povektin was already within the legal deadline for trace amounts. The deadline being extended doesn't change anything for Povektin. He already passed.

Stripped and costs means Deonkey to be pushing a mop at an eatery near you soon. MVC might get an autograph with his next zinger. :deal

This is bad for Deontay. I hope his promoter takes the hit, I doubt Wilder can afford the costs coming his way.

    Here are the real facts.

    1. Wilder and the demographic never wanted this fight.

    2. Wilder gets note that Povetkin had meldonium, under the limit, in his system.

    3. Wilder cowards away before anything official happens.

    4. Povetkin clears up everything.

    5. Wilder and Fat Dan duo slander a clean fighter.

    6. Demographic and Wilder are crying because both fittin to go broke.

Number 5 is the key here. Not much of a case for breach but the defamation case will fu*k Wilder and his team sideways.

Demographs are too stupid to read the case or understand the science.

    Can't wait.

The WBC did the right thing with the investigation and postponement.

Wilder is getting a voluntary defense in the meantime, which is fair.

Now, the right thing to happen is for Povetkin to maintain his mandatory spot and the fight to go through.

This is one time boxing has the chance to make the right call on a unique situation.

Good post. This new deadline directive doesn't change anything in regard to the reappearance after 3 negatives, which is what this has always been about really.

Certainly wouldn't rule out option 1, but to suggest this news "proves Pov was clean" is straight bull****.
