This would have been a wild shoot out from start to finish with both guys throwing lots of flashy combos with mean intent. Taylor didn't have the power or defense to keep Pryor off him and his willingness to engage more often than necessary will eventually catch up to him, especially against someone like Pryor. Pryor just has too much firepower, toughness, and aggression for Taylor to handle down the stretch. Still, this is a fun match up.
I like Pryor and his tenacity and durability over the ridiculous speed and talent that prime Taylor had.
Taylor likes to mix it up too much and that would be his downfall against Pryor who wins by late TKO.
I don’t think Taylor could keep Pryor off of him and didn’t have the durability needed to mix it up with him. I’m guessing Pryor wins a stoppage at some point. Meldrick might win a few of the earlier rounds
