I loved Mel, but Ortiz stops him. Ortiz's style was better suited to deal with Mel then Chavez's was. Mel would build an early lead, but eventually Ortiz's body attack and accuate punching takes its toll, and he stops Mel around the 10th or 11th. Good matchup though. An even BETTER matchup might be Ortiz vs Pryor.
Ortiz wasnt so unbeateable at 140 and Taylor was a real great fighter for a short period of time. Im gonna go against what im sure most of the classic will say. I think Taylor would win a close decision over Ortiz.
