Actually, standing in the pocket and outspeeding Julio worked well at times. If he tried to use lateral movement constantly he would have gassed and Chavez would have brutalized his body. Taylor's game wasn't lateral movement. That said. I think Floyd would find a way to nullify him. Floyd needs to be fairly busy thought because Taylor could put forth a very high work rate. I think Floyd would counter enough to get a close decision.
