Taylor would present problems with his fast hands, but is also the smaller man. Being this is at WW, I feel Meldrick would be ahead early, but the punch attack of JLL slowly wears him down. After boring in relentlessly throughout the course of the fight, Jose is finally able to "drown" Meldrick in the deep waters.
Personally I thought Lopez might have edged that fight with Quartey, also, if we take Taylor's loss to Espana, and Espana's performance against Quartey before getting stopped, I would have to say that Espana was a little underrated for being an awkwardly effective opponent, that it was not so much a case of Taylor being shot as to why he lost to Espana, I just dont think he had the height or power to be as effective as at the higher weights against bigger men, particularly a big man like Lopez would could hit. Terry Norris walked right through him, infact apparently told him before the fight, dont pity patter cause ill walk right through you, which is what he did. I dont see how Taylor could get through this fight without getting hit and hurt with one of those big punches from Lopez.
Lopez could give him some problems, but Taylors speed could probably give Lopez more problems, especially if he comes in uninterested.
