After that turn back the clock performance by Marquez, how does the old man fare against the Taylor that fought Chavez I?

Marquez wins 7 or 8 out of the 12 rounds.

    So a comfortable Taylor UD.

Both Pacquaio and Marquez from Sat beat Taylor IMO.

Taylor of '86 to '91, anywhere between 140 to 147, eats both "Pacman & Marquez" for dinner in a time machine.......Size, speed and underrated power is the key.... Taylor...

Interesting match up, I see parallels between Taylor-Chavez and Marquez-Pacquaio. Like Pacquaio Taylor is very fast but very defensively naive, although he is ofcourse better inside. Like Chavez Marquez is very accurate, great timing and a great defence. Chavez is ofcourse better coming forward and pressuring, and breaking his man to the body, Marquez prefers to play a counter punching and potshotting role and is better in that respect. He would without doubt land stinging counters as he draws Taylors leads and makes him miss. Taylor's speed and combinations see him score plenty too

I think the fight would be a close one down to the wire with Taylor having more success than Pacquaio

Quite a different proposition than Pacquiao, Taylor would fight Marquez predominantly on the inside and at close range, outlanding him 3 or 4 punches to 1.

Juan would land nice crisp shots and have the guys that are anal about "clean & effective" punches scoring well for him, but someone like Harold Lederman would probably have Taylor shutting Juan out.

I'd probably have Taylor winning 10-2, maybe 9-3.

Juan Diaz tried to do that and took a hammering for doing so, the more you pressure Marquez the more countering openings there are and he throws a shedload back himself in those scenarios. Taylor is better but still, he isn't outlanding him 3-1, that's just silly

You guys are idiots.Taylor at jr.welter beats the crap out of JMM and Pac.

JMM would have no clue on how to deal with Taylors speed.I actually see Taylor stopping JMM at jw.
