You gotta feel bad for Taylor who gave an amazing performance, up until the last round where he just fought silly.
That being said, you can't blame Steele for anything. It doesn't matter how much time is left, Chavez was ****ed up and barely conscious, the stoppage is legit. Whether there's 10 seconds or 1 second left is irrelevant, it's about life and death in these cases.
What if he did let Taylor continue? He would have probably survived to win the fight, on a technicality. He was badly beaten and swollen. Chavez won that fight.

1. The Mosley-Mayorga fight was ****ing CLOSE!
2. The Fight was a split going into the 12th, meaning Mayorga was winning on atleast one card!
3. The ref has no IDEA who the judges are scoring the fight for.
4. A fight is 36 minutes long, not 35 min 54 seconds.
5. Taylor was NOT fit to continue.
6. After Taylor was interviewed he said Steele didn't say anything to him, he said steele didn't ask him if he was okay, and said, Steele didn't give him a COUNT!!!!!! Steele was in TAYLOR'S FACE!!! COUNTING!!! TAYLOR WAS SO ****E UP AND KO HE DIDN"T EVEN KNOW!!!!

Chavez had 6 ****ing seconds to KILL Taylor.
Mosley had 1 Second.

Mayorga was in much better shape than Taylor when Mayorga's head was nearly decapitated.

Taylor as a result of the fight got brain damage, was pissing blood for weeks, was hospitalized, had facial fractures...One more punch from Chavez could have been fatal!! This is boxing, and you're that much of a douche bag that you wanted to let chavez have even two more seconds to KILL Taylor????? :-(

 

I give Taylor more credit than you. In no way, shape or form did Taylor fight silly...That is diminishing his Skill...What happened was that by round 10 Taylor's legs were GONE. He had nothing left..All he could do is stand and swing.

It's actually more technical than life and death, it's about rules, and Taylor was out on his feet when Steele finished counting...

..Taylor later confirmed this when he admitted that he didn't HEAR Steele ask him if he was okay, he admitted he didn't SEE or HEAR Steele give him a COUNT, and he said he thought STEELE didn't SAY anything to him.

...Clearly Taylor was KO..Out on his feet...not all there, incapabale of defending himself...Vulnerable to getting Killed.

Hindsight is 20/20. bottom line is taylor was robbed and steele is a dirty referee. chavez got another gift down the line. sad but true thats the wya things turned out. and mosley would have won the cards even if he didnt knockout mayorga. he won the last round. the knockout was just a techinicality in terms of the fights decision.
