 at "couldn't even dent Chavez".

Taylor couldn't drop or dent Chavez like those numerous other guys did in his first 88 pro fights.

Taylor wasn't a big puncher, but he had the activity level to ware down Hatton and stop him, maybe on cuts/swelling or finally dropping a beaten and tired Hatton in the late rounds.

    Either that, or UD.

I don't see Hatton as being the type of fighter that has enough to take full advantage of Taylor's flaws.

This. but a good fight up until then.

However, when you say Prime-- i actually pick the Hatton pre-Kosta Tszyu. The kind we saw against Ben Tackie. The pressure fighter.. not the eat-shots, no head movement, lunge in for left-hooks then clinch post-KT Hatton!

Ricky is one of the best light-welter long-stays OF HIS GENERATION.

Not of all-time. If you include the last generation- the likes of Chavez, Taylor & Pernell would pick him apart and KO him!

Hatton fan but the truth is the truth!
