Hatton would find himself being outboxed, outpunched and stopped in the mid rounds by a peak Taylor.

The Taylor that beat McGirt, and fought Chavez would stomp a hole in Hatton's ass! I dont even think its a competitive fight.

    Taylor TKO 9.

I'd take Taylor as well. Hatton isn't a concussive puncher and i think tat makes his chances very slim. Hatton is different stylistically to Chavez though, especially at 140, Chavez was educated pressure boys, Hatton a swarmer, and about as educated as Chavez' *******

140 was Taylor's best weight imo and he stops Hatton in the later rounds. Taylor would still have a chance at beating Hatton in 147. Hatton may have his moments here and there but I see Taylor grabbing the W in an entertaining bout.

Have to say Taylor...but its possible hatton could get the win if Taylor lets pride take him into the trenches with Hatton. If hatton can work the body in close range..he could win it.....

Taylor UD or cut induced stoppage.

Hatton would bring just as much pressure as Chavez did, but he would lack the accuracy and sheer ouch Chavez brought into his shots. He couldn't wear Taylor down over 12 rounds, because his ability to do damage is much less than that of JCC. Also, JCC had a subtle, effective defense that Ricky just lacked. Hatton would get hit way much solidly, and his face would wear down.

Taylor would come out on top, and clearly, but you bet your ass he'd have to fight as hard till the end came as he ever did. Ricky ain't a stud, but he's a damn good fighter on his day who always brought it as hard as he could. He'd make you work.

fair enough comment..i think Taylor wins this..but its a bit tougher then some people seem to think. I also think that maybe just maybe taylor would let his heart get in the way of win by trying to sit down with Hatton.....

but in all likely hood the best Taylor beats the best Hatton.....

I think Taylor's blazing combos reduce Hatton's face to hamburger at both weights. Probably stoppages because of facial damage in both fights.
Entertaining fights, but with the outcome , not ever really in doubt.
