why would he **** mosley up? Is there really that big of a difference in skill between taylor and mosley??? They are somewhat similar fighters, Mosley is a very strong *******, moved up to lose to much much bigger men and lost a close but very competative fight with a bull in Cotto. Seriously do you honestly think Taylor would have destroyed Mosley????? cmon man.. How do you think Taylor would have done against a Prime DLH??? I suppose you think Taylor would have steam rolled DLH too?? lol

To be perfectly honest, I think this would be a good fight. I give Taylor the advantages in speed and overall boxing ability. If you combine this with Shane's lack of defense, normally it would be a easy win for Tayloy. However, Taylor was weak on the defensive end himself. Both guys could take a punch, but Mosley is the bigger puncher. In the end, I give the slight edge to Taylor. I would take a prime DLH over Taylor.

Taylor could outbox Mosley and most likely would at around 140. He is just as fast if not faster, has better boxing skills and better defensive skills (Neither is top notch). Mosley overwhelmed fighters with his speed and power at the lower weights. This wouldn't be effective against Taylor.

Great fight..a fight for the ages...prime MT, prior to the chavez loss..Vs the SSM prior to the ODLH first fight. I will go with Shane..he was (and is) something very very special..not that taylor wasnt..SSM has the intangible of chin/power/speed/determination that you rarely see...he would gut out a close win..and i would be $50 poorer becuase of it....(buy PPV). Taylor had Duva...that has to lose him at last 1 round

Shane Mosley by knockout. Meldrick Taylor would not shy away from exchanging blows with Shane, which would allow Mosley's explosive power to carry the day.
