The fight would have been an absolute blood bath and one of the greatest fights ever seen. At least I think so at least.

Taylor has the superior workrate. He'd land more punches, Taylor by MD. Would be a GREAT fight to watch though.

Shane would be stronger by a mile. Taylor would be quicker. Really tough one to call. If Taylor makes it the distance without getting dropped he might win a Split decision. If Shane drops him I would say he'd win a split decision or a late KO.

this would be an incredible fight, by fighters with similar styles.

I pick Taylor to win a UD in a fight where he gets knocked down.

I think Mosley has had the better career, but Taylor at his best would be incredibly hard to beat head to head under welterweight.

I think at 135 shane could really hurt Taylor just because of that speed(they both are insane fast) but It's a whole different game when you're defending against your own medicine. The way Mosley was able to handle DLH twice was so impressive, he out punched and out muscled a very large welterweight in DLH. And he was sickening at 135

This fight would take place at 140, not 135. Taylor has faster combinations, Mosley has more power. People saying Taylor had a mediocre chin have no clue what they're talking about, he could take a LOT of punishment and come right back, which he proved. He was so hard to outbox because if you tried to pop in and out, his hands were so fast that you simply couldn't outslick him. I thought McGirt was a bad matchup for him, and boy was I wrong.

Anyways, they would trade blows, Shane could definitely hurt him because Taylor was there to be hit, but if it went to a Decision I see Taylor taking it on the basis of landing more. If there was a stoppage it would be in Shane's favor.

I personally don't see where Taylor has superior skill vs Mosley. Both were there to be hit and both liked to exchange. I'd say Taylor is a bit faster but Mosley is stronger.

Mosley by KO in my opinion. Mosley has a ridiculous chin.
