The one word I would use to describe Tim Bradley is "resourceful" .He just found different ways to get the job done or to overcome a disadvantage. I like him to win this one

Yeah, I cant see any other outcome besides Mel by commanding decision. Bradley would try his best but he's too limited to win, and most of all, he doesn't have the power to make Taylor's leaky defense a factor. If anything, Taylor had the more pop of the two.

Bradley really gets underrated these days, a really good fighter and HOF worthy. Taylor, for all his speed, was too easy to hit and easy to get in wars with. Bradley would have made it a tough fight for Taylor with his versatility and boxing smarts.

Bradley would need to wear down Taylor but he doesn't have the power to do so. I'd favor Taylor just slightly due to his higher workrate and faster combinations but I think Bradley would make a good account of himself with his own skills and will to win to make it close. It would have been a barnburner for sure.

I don’t see Bradley winning this fight although I do agree with @Bronze Tiger about Bradley being resourceful. I just think Meldricks speed and work rate will give him an edge. I don’t think either guy is getting stoped, and think it will be competitive. But still see Meldrick taking an 8-4 type decision

What i took away from the Chavez fight is that going to the body just isnt a Taylor thing .....honestly his skills dont impress me, but his handspeed does . And i would not call Taylor a puncher

I feel like Bradley was more versatile than Taylor

You think so? Because Bradley has the better resume...and his performance againt Juan Manuel Marquez was impressive

Taylor's performance against McGirt was better than any performance of Bradley's career and McGirt was a better fighter than Bradley.

To me, the best version of Bradley was one who beat Peterson. That was Tim at his very best.

Still, good God Bradley is overrated around here. Now he's being compared to Holyfield? Really?

Taylor had better technical skills than Bradley, and was a more fluid and skilled operator in general. On top of obviously having a huge edge in handspeed. He had far better technique than Tim and would score in-between Bradley's wider combos all night.

Who's overrating him? I have not seen anyone calling Bradley as one of the best fighters in recent time, let alone an ATG. He is, however, a legitimate HOF fighter who has one of the better resumes compared to other recent fighters. Has some nice wins (no matter how you called the Pac or Marquez fights) and has only lost twice to the same fighter who happens to be an ATG. He's way more underrated than overrated if you ask me. I have not seen anyone try and compare Bradley to the likes of other greats like Whitaker, Chavez, or Duran.

There was a Bradley-Mosley thread on here a few weeks ago, and a few posters suggested that Bradley could beat a prime Mosley. THAT is overrating him.

He gets pretty high praise on Eastside, more than he deserves IMO.
