Melligen wins by 4th round tko over zepeda

    Top Filipino light welter prospect, Mark Jason Melligen, won his fight via 4th round TKO over Mexican Ernesto Zepeda. The end for Zepeda (39-13-4 34KO) came at 2:40 of the 4th round when Melligen sent him to the canvas after a blistering attack by the Bacolod City native. The referee didn't bother to count. Earlier rounds saw Melligen breaking down Zepeda with pinpoint accurate punches.

    By the way, Melligen is Floyd's former sparring partner.

    Saw the fight. He's strong, has potential. Didn't know he sparred with Floyd, interesting fact.
