    Round 2

Padilla is downed again, immediately upon answering the bell. I think it was another left uppercut downstairs, bypassing the forearms. López is vivisecting the guard of Padilla with the right jab and crashing the left hand in straights & uppercuts against the sternum and lower mandible. López knocks Padilla into the ropes with a blocked left. Right hook doubled up on the body from López. Padilla turns his back on López and is warned by the ref not to do that. BIG exchange, and López clips Padilla on the face with a left cross as Padilla was bravely/unwisely throwing a wide power combo.

    Round 3

López is working uppercuts with both hands. Padilla is sent across the ring full-sail even when blocking these uppers, often catching them across the face and seeming to go to sleep for an instant before shaking the cobwebs, instinctively covering up or swaying into a safe deep bend while dissociating. López is toying with Padilla, stalking him, playing watch-the-birdie with a jack-in-the-box cranking motion with his right jab. López catches a wild line drive right from Padilla on his rear palm and throws a short combo in counter. Padilla is going for broke, stepping in and hooking. López rips him with a right hook on the ribs. Clubbing left, Padilla hurt. Padilla dives into López's waist and ties him up, spinning him in the process.

10-9 López, first round w/o a KD but still extremely dominant, could easily argue scoring a 10-8 anyway.

El Pesadilla is outclassed here but has proven himself one brave SOB.

    Round 4

López is stepping in and ripping left uppercuts into the thoracic cavity of Padilla. Stiff left jabs by Padilla, buying himself a bit of respect, but eventually López worms his way past them, sometimes resorting to swatting them aside with a brushing outward sweep of his right arm, sometimes just willingly eating them and planting his own jab to set up his powerful lefts, mostly uppers. Padilla not laying down for him. Pace has settled considerably.

    Round 5

López is nailing Padilla into the ropes with left hand leads. Padilla is pushing López's jabs down, catching them in midair to drag to a harmless altitude with his left snapping out like a Hungry-Hungry-Hippo. López is jabbing his way in, then flipping his right elbow in to knock Padilla's guard aside. López is standing off a bit more now, overthinking his offense, wondering how to get rid of this guy. López clearly wasn't planning on a long haul, seems antsy.

    Round 6

López is working heavy shoeshines on the navel and sliding back to give space to let Padilla off the ropes only to cuff him across his temple with a swiping right hook. López is starting to really put some mustard on (& straighten out) his 1-2, emphasizing this one previously little-utilized tool in his arsenal. Padilla is hurt with it repeatedly but still not going anywhere, letting his spine bounce off the ropes and charging into the breach once more, head down, body shots being trickled out until he can either grind his crown into López's belly to plow him into the ropes or tie up. López is slapping wide around the near elbow with a right upper-hook on the flank. Short flurries inside by Padilla, so, so, so, so game in the face of vastly superior firepower.

    Round 7

López is skating from side to side, attacking from different angles. Padilla's head is made of concrete, and his will is titanium. López is prying off Padilla when he jumps in and lays atop him working light gourd-drags upward into the body. López is entreating the ref to assist, too fatigued to be peeling his opponent from him every few seconds. Padilla keeps up the flypaper impression and harries López with light uppercuts stubbornly pushing forward. López slides his feet back and jacks Padilla's head around sharply with right hooks.

    Round 8

López is pulling up his trunks, and Padilla takes a moment to mirror him - whether in mockery or because his own are sagging as well inconclusive. López is walking Padilla into the ropes, where Padilla raises his guard and squats into a "ready" guard, exaggerated for dramatic effect. López is burying 1-2s into the forearms and slamming in hard right hooks above the left hip. Padilla finally seems a bit hurt by the body shots, bothered enough to heel-toe away from López in a wide spiral around the sponsor's logo. López is lancing the jab between Padilla's eyes from outside but not falling all the way in, wary of counter punches even though Padilla has yet to show much pop and has been throwing arm punches for several rounds and not sitting down on much since the 1st. López trots in lazily jabbing. Headlock. Break. Wild body shots and overhands thrown blindly with Padilla leans forward.

    Round 9

López is doubling and tripling his southpaw jab into Padilla's face, throwing so much with that hand that his glove tape comes loose, but the referee and corner (and López himself) all seem unconcerned, letting them fight even as the strands dangle. Padilla is ducking and flurrying lightly into the stomach. Finally time out is called, and they examine López's gloves but deem them unworthy of taking a lengthier break to actually re-lace them. López connects a jab, left cross, and then another VERY stiff jab, turning Padilla's head around violently in the pocket. López is fencing with Padilla, jabbing at the face and drawing the counter from him, pulling himself outside and then boomeranging in with his own counter jab. Padilla getting diced up here with the jab alone, frequently stung by it, but hanging in there, never going into full retreat.

This is shaping up to be perhaps the most brutal UD of the year so far.

    Round 10

López is jousting his way in, just pinning his quarry into the ropes with his outstretched right arm, not even "jabbing" with it per se. Just skewering Padilla with the arm while cantering in on him. López is batting down Padilla's left jab with his right glove. López is approaching with quick subtle leans to either side, frequently changing the position of his right glove and feigning jabs. López jumps in and lands a right hook on the body. Padilla is still pushing out a double left jab and trying in vain to push ahead, gain some ground, and impose his will on López. Padilla rams his right forearm into López's stomach but can't budge him. Ref warns him for stiff-arming kind of low. López pops off a short combo. Padilla tries an overhand, grazing inside.

Wish this clown could pull his head out of his ass and think to include information as basic as what round. And his hashtags are a joke. WTF does this gif/Tweet have to do with Jacobs vs. Sulęcki??

Also he uses the #KO #knockout and #brutal tags even when reporting decisions. :sisi1
