Wood vs Oganov was one ugly brawl. But an interesting scrap to watch just to see where it would all end. Garry Dean just let them try and kill each other.

Here is his career list and careful there is a second page of fights:

Depends what you are looking for with Tony. He had some great fights. One of his biggest wins was probably Emile Griffith in France. He won national and Commonwealth titles in about 4 different weight divisions, and fought probably the greatest middleweight of all time Carlos Monzon.

Tony cleaned out the Aussie middleweights and then started fighting bigger guys. Even won the Australian heavyweight title.

No Australian born fighter ever beat him. But Tony's scraps with Steve Aczel were pretty willing.

Sounds like the Meehan vs Grima card when Stewy beat Philipino Tirso Dela Pena.

Meehan will be fighting in the NZ Super 8 tournament in a couple of weeks time.

Hector Thompson vs "Baby Cassius" Austin I & II.

The scorecards in their first meeting make for interesting reading:

Judges Jack Rennie & Dal Conway scored it 72-70 and 72-69 both for Thompson.
Referee Dinny Heaney had it 74-54 for Baby Cassius!!

Kali was huge in his last fight against Travis Walker. 248 pounds and a lot of it was around his guts. Sure hope he comes in better than that in NZ in a few weeks time.

Hint. Look up Tony's opponent's names in Boxrec and then when you search Youtube enter both his and their name in the search. Otherwise you soon end up with Anthony's fights getting mixed up in your search results.

Leo was a very handy fighter. Bled like a dog in that fight. Bones just too good.

Thx for replys n help in pointing us in right direction...

Anyone recomend any fights from tv ringside. Must have been at least a few that were great fights... Didnt that Charkey Raymond (think that was his name) fight on tv ringside, he must have been in a few memorable scraps.... Didnt he throw punches one fight he was reffing?

    Thx...
