    It does not get sweeter than watching Leonard get knockdown by a Camacho jab!


    I would concede that he was at least a decade past his best though; but same for The Macho Man...

    Their's been many.
    One of my favorites was Marvin "Pops" Johnson stopping up and coming Leslie Stewart. Someone forgot to tell Johnson he was supposed to be a" stepping stone".
    Hearns total annihilation of Cuevas and Duran. No one saw that coming to either fighter, not that emphatically.
    Leonard beating Hagler. Most fans and media actually questioned Leonard's sanity, feared for his safety. Hagler never fought again.
    Duran vs Moore and Barkley, Moore and Barkley were favorites and were supposed to win easily. Duran didn't get the memo.
    Tyson vs Douglas..... Wow.
    Ali vs Liston and Forman. Both of those fighters was supposed to destroy Ali..... Ali's victories over both men completely changed the face of boxing.
    Scmeling vs Louis #1 who actually believed he(Scmeling) actually " Saw Something ".

    Agree with most, but Hagler losing to Leonard wasn't embarrassing - infact many people felt Hagler won or it was a draw. Barkley is somewhat embarrassing, as he lost to a blow-up lightweight, but his performance was stellar. The rest I agree with 100%.

    Most feared for Leonard's life ( Myself included) A natural welterweight, out of the ring for almost 5yrs , partying, drinking, using drugs gets it in his mind to challenge possibly the best Middleweight in history, that Middleweight was a active fighter, coming off of two of his most destructive wins......
    No one thought Leonard would win. They only hopped he wouldn't get himself killed. It was a embarrassing loss for Hagler especially considering how big a favorite he was.

    I guess it's embarrassing when you put it like that. It's just that's not the way most people see it & no one I've come across sees it as embarrassing for Hagler, but as a detriment to Leonard for supposedly being opportunistic.
