Men who turn pro at a late age

    Can anyone think of any world class boxers who never started boxing until a late age.

    How is that late? I thought it was about 27 for him anyway, which is late.

    Nate Campbell.

    Two fighters to a lesser extent are that Tony Thompson (who fell over against Wlad not too long ago) and Audley Harrison....

    I thought Dan was just talking about fighters who turned pro at a late age, and not counting too much into amateur experience.

    Your not going to find many great fighters without amateur experience.

    no nate was taught the bascis of boxing as a kid, but didnt have his first amature fight until the age of 24
