The fighters are: Ricky Hatton. Ivan Calderon. Michael Moorer. Diego Corrales. Not really thrilled by this year's class. Calderon was the most skilled of the bunch, he is only one who, I think deserves his spot in the HOF, others fall into the category of very good, but not great. The only good thing about this class is that it boosts Floyd and Pac's records. One now has wins over two HOFs on his resume, while the other just one.
I personally would have chosen Meldrick Taylor, Gilberto Roman, Miguel Lora, Santos Laciar, or Michael Nunn over them. I do think Ivan Calderon and Diego Corrales deserve a place in the IBHOF so I'don't mind those 2 getting in.
Floyd Mayweather has wins over seven Hall of Famers. (It will be eight when Manny is eligible. Nine when Canelo is eligible.) * Corrales * Hatton * Oscar * Cotto * Gatti * Marquez * Mosley Manny has wins over eight: * Barrera * Hatton * Oscar * Cotto * Bradley * Morales * Marquez * Mosley
Very impressive resume the both of them. I think Pac's number of HOFers on his resume has reached it's end with Hatton whereas Mayweather will eventually have 9 HOFers once Pac and Canelo get in at some point.
Manny and Canelo are locks to get in. Genaro Hernandez is already on the ballot. He may get in, as well, for Mayweather (eventually).
Hernandez probably has a long ways to go for him to be inducted. The only other fighters on Pac's resume that could somehow make their way on the ballot would be guys like Oscar Larios, Lucas Matthysse, Adrien Broner, or Keith Thurman although many would disagree with their inclusion.
