interesting article: THE GIST The sound of a man's voice reveals his upper body strength and fighting ability. The findings put men on vocal par with many other animals whose calls also directly communicate body strength. Men's voices contain such information because ancestrally, men were more likely to engage in aggression. http://news.discovery.com/human/man-voice-strength-fight.html Also this part: There are a few exceptions to the voice/strength connection, however. Sell pointed out that boxer Mike Tyson's voice does not match well with his physical power, and there are other men who sound very tough but may be scrawny. Nevertheless, such exceptions are few and far between, he suggests.
Yes I see how you'd think proven fighting and boxing success is an inferior indicator of fighting ability to 'asking how many fights they've had and measuring their biceps' BTW you can't measure a bicep, you measure the arm
boxing skill proves boxing skill. i have a friend who was 5'9 195 who was jumped and put a whooping on the five dudes in school. he tried boxing and was thoroughly outclassed. the skills don't transfer completely. fencing skill does not equal kendo skill.
PAC Man doesn't really have a deep voice neither does Floyd. I dont' think this is true at all but in some cases it is. Look at bob sapp....BIG ass ***** with a DEEP ass voice.
its also true that you cant trust a man with a moustash , but then you have people like Magnum PI , so I dont know it seems unlikely that the world is round. Im thinking an off round is more accurate.
Well, maybe there could be something true about that stuff this guy's talking, but statistics often don't mean anything for individuals as exceptions like Mike Tyson prove.
Wow... yeah sure... and tell me how they correlated this bs to fighting?? the have some dudes yell, then fight while some drs took notes? lol this **** is sad...
