we all know that both guys are the best, but with all that has happened and as this drama goes on and on ,who is more affected mentally? Floyd has some personal problems and Pac being a politician....Pac gets under floyds skin and floyds PED accusations discrediting Pac achievements....blah blah blah...

....distractions,motivation,hate,anger,ego and fear these emotions are part of it all.

Will this affect their performance and play a vital part if the fight happens?

Floyd looks more comfortable because of his style, but Pacquiao is in a zone of his own once he steps in there.

There are already two different conversations going on here. :err

Hey, who is everyone's most sexually desired Golden Girl? For me it's Blanche...but Dorothy in a full dominatrix getup would be a close second.

When negotiations first started I would say even with Manny having a slight edge, but after the drug testing, Floyd started gaining ground and Floyd got a huge advantage over Manny after the Mosley fight, but the second failed negotiations, Ustream video, and legal trouble is bringing it closer and closer and right now I would say it's pacquiao again

I honestly think that the PED allegations had less effect than you may be crediting. Pac seems to let his team do all the worrying, he just relaxes and has fun.

I think it was neutral to begin with, and has shifted further and further towards Pac's favour.
Similarly, I first predicted that Floyd would win a close but clear decision if and when they fought. However, I have been shifting ground on that, based mostly on Floyd's lack of mental game, and now have it as a 50/50 fight.

Once Floyd's olympic style testing gets to Pac's head, Floyd's gonna have the psychological advantage again..

I don't know, Manny seemed very worried about the testing at first and he wanted the 30 day cutoff and everything and after the Mosley fight, Floyd had the boxing world in his hand and Manny was conceding to everything and I think that helped Floyd's ego and confidence.
It Also will affect Manny that he wanted a 30 day cutoff and to be alerted when the tests where going to be and now has random testing with a 7 day cutoff

I don't think either of them feel they need the other. At their level's of the game, I'm sure neither feels they have anything to prove. I think Floyd generally doesn't give a **** what people say negatively about him, and is just gonna do him and get his money. And Manny will fight whoever they put in front of him and get paid as well.

Floyd has more **** not related to the fight that would bother him personally. I think the media frenzy surrounding Pacquiao and his accolades or awards might make him laugh or get a rise out of him, but I don't think he really cares, he's been getting criticized sooo long i'm sure he's used to it as long as the money comes in the same or better.

And I'm pretty sure the bloodtesting/ped thing probably gets under Manny's skin a little, but not much to the point where he would lose sleep. I bet he could ride off into the sunset without giving a damn about taking a test, and call it a career.

i dont think that mind game **** works on either of them but Pac probably has a slight edge since the world is on his side (for the most part)

Yeah, mostly I agree that neither seem like the type of person who would let mind games get to them. Pac's just too happy doing what he does and often it seems that it's Floyd who's playing mind games on his opponents.

But will all the trouble Floyd is having lately, I'm starting to think that maybe it's starting to get to him. But at this point... seems like a moot discussion anyway.

    I agree with this. ^

I'd say Pac has the edge, atm.

I think the whole situation has gotten into Floyd's head. The entire world is pressuring him and calling him a coward. You know it's bothering him, it would anybody. Floyd has a huge ego. He's probably not taking the fight bc he knows everyone else wants him to do it. And the thought of losing to the guy who you say would get his ass whooped to your friends and everyone else might be a bit too humiliating for him.
