Try to make up more history about Merchant's lifelong hate to justify Floyd's behavior in the interview if you want. This is a fact.
Merchant had not said a single word of criticism when Mayweather went off. Not a single word.

Mayweather simply knew what he did was a ***** move. He knew ducking Pac was a ***** move. He knew he was probably going to get asked about both, so he did what he does best.
He created a way to avoid a tough challenge.

It's a fact that Merchant had not said anything to provoke him in the interview, but you're also in denial if you think Merchant has never said anything at all about Floyd in the past. No one is making anything up in pointing this out. Whether or not that justifies Floyd's behavior is of course an entirely different matter, and one which I'm sure most people will answer in the negative.

I think it was not only an annoying, but a very negative, interview by larry. Let's not forget Floyd at no point cheated, yet Ortiz did, yet Floyd was made out to be the bad guy again. Yes it was a cheap shot, but it was also a fair shot. I think they way larry asked the questions seemed to imply Floyd was in the wrong.

Its an eye for an eye situationn. If someone had the disrespect to cheat by headbutting me, I have the right to get them back. The only difference is Floyd used his brain to do so.

People seem$ to think it was not provoked. Can u see floyd doing that if he wasn't butted and they hugged because Floyd accidently or intentionally broke the rules.... And more importantly if the roles were reversevd would ve guys who say Floyd was in the wrong defend Floyd?

That's what I thiught. Our hatred for him makes you too biased.y

Larry Merchant shits on everyone!!! That's why we love him, and hate him, this was no vandetta against Floyd...besides he didn't say **** to Floyd for floyd to get his pannies in a bunch....Seems like Floyd knew he was an ******* *** for doing what he did and didn't want to own up to it in the interview.

I supported Mayweather, and save a few fights, have rooted for him...But enough is enough, he was a complete *******, as if he wouldn't be bitching and crying if he was LEGALLY cheap shotted.....

You do realize its all bull**** and theatrics

Sunday Morning Larry Merchant showed up at Floyd's Penthouse at a suite in Vegas (at an undisclosed location) Where they had breakfast together laughed and joked, Mayweather thought it was funny what Larry said, and Larry thought it was funny, right before Larry leaves, Mayweather hands him an envelope with some cash,

Larry thanks him and leaves....Larry tells Floyd that more people are going to hate him now, and Floyd responds by telling him that More haters = more money, the two part ways and go on about their days

welcome to the WWE folks :deal

Its all show and bull****, seconds afer Merchant and May talked **** they were all smiles and laughing.....

Right now as we speak or yesterday afternoon, DelaHoya. Mayweather and his camp, Victor Ortiz, Danny Garcia and who ever else, along with HBO executives, Al Haymon and other notables were kicking it in a Lavish Pad (probably May's house) Counting their money and laughing at everybody who bought their ****...........Ortiz is grateful, that May made him a millionaire....Everybody is happy and friends...Larry is gonna stop in to say hello also.

    :deal

Merchant has belittled and put PBF down many times and Saturday he was saying what Floyd did was wrong, cheap and unfair. You ***gots get over it. Ortiz head butted with such force that a point was taken away immediately! No warning. Ortiz should have used his brains and maybe he would not have ended up on the canvas. Instead he let Cortez's actions confuse him and he paid the price! These analysts think they can say what they want about a fighter and not get something back? Kiss my ASS!!! Merchant got what he deserved as well. BITCHS!!!!!

Actually, Merchant was the first to say the KO was legit despite being disappointing, and gave Mayweather praise during the fight for the excitement. He never said anything offensive and was in the middle of saying Floyd controlled the fight when Floyd flipped out. Don't pretend this is just about Merchant, he did the same thing to Kellerman.
