    Martinez needs to stop ducking the top guys in his division. He loves calling out Floyd and Pacman, but Sergio has done NOTHING to deserve a fight with either of them. He has a win over glass-jawed Williams and a razor-close win over a drunken, weight-drained Pavlik.

    Sergio needs to fight Pirog and Golovkin. But he's afraid to even talk about them, because they have good ring smarts and they hit too hard.

    There are no top guys in his division. That's the entire starting point for him looking for smaller guys or him moving up.

    Well, he's wrong. Martinez is already fighting the larger guys at 160. His natural weight is 154. Merchant shouldn't offer his opinion on such matters after his third vodka.

    How in the **** is his natural weight 154 when he walks around @ 170+??

    His best weight is between 157 and 165

    These guys he fights like Macklin and Barker don't have real punching power that would cause him problems, they are Euro setups, volume punchers that don't have the ring IQ. Golovkin already gave a interview after watching that setup last night, he said it himself "I have actual KO power that would make a fight with Martinez an actual danger for him". :deal

    Actually due to his style his best fight weight is 154 to 160.. Serge is an outside counter puncher who relies on speed and reflexes.

    Fighters cut weight. He weighed into last night's fight at 157. The only reason he moved up to 160 was because there wasn't **** for him at 154.

    Larry merchant chats ****, throught out the whole fight he was at odds with his bull**** to lampley and Stewart who were getting annoyed with his constant ranting of Martinez, for example in the 9th round he said Martinez not using combinations and at that point sergio used a combo and starting taking macklin apart with accurate crisp shots
