What the **** does this have to do with Larry shitting on Barker during the fight, when he was clearly doing well especially thru the first 7 rounds?

I'm planning to re-watch the fight anyway. I didn't notice too much, I guess people either pay far too much attention to the commentator, or they hang on every word of Merchant to prove his negativity or hate. It's not much on my radar, I'm trying to absorb the great boxing.

What the **** does Floyd have to do with anything? I felt Barker was fighting a good, smart, very competitive fight yet Merchant took multiple shots at him for no reason. If you disagree fine but it has nothing do do with Floyd outside of being an example of why guys feel the way they do about Merchant.

It's pretty ****in obvious WHY i added that. If you really cannot see WHY, then I can't help it. Clear as ****in day what I am saying.

What shots? Not kissing his ass? Was he insulting him? Look, I happen to agree with what Merchant was saying.

Merchant was being critical of Barker doing a good job getting in, taking Martinez out of his rhythm, yet NOT trying throwing a punch.

Again, I mentioned intentionally, as a part of my point. The way you guys freak out over anything merchant says now. If it went over your head, sorry.

    ^ This.

Also, FWIW, I agree with Larry's scorecard completely. I dunno what fight you guys were watching. Barker surprised us all, and deserves respect, but he only one MAYBE a couple of rounds. He was clearly just trying to survive, whereas Martinez was clearly trying to win. Barker landed a reasonable amount of shots, but few of them had any serious intent (or power) behind them.

And hopefully, Barker won some fans last night. Definitely one I plan to keep track of.
