I admire Mercito for always fighting the best boxers in his division. Mercito would knock out Rios but Rios has a punchers chance. I would move Mercito to #2 on my pound for pound list when he beats rios.

Lmfao @ some people here actually think a very very green prospect in Gesta has a chance at all vs Rios?:lol::lol::lol: Some of you people are idiots no offense. Have any of you actually check Gesta last 4 fights? It was all against fighters with the record of 22 wins-11 losses, 29 wins - 10 losses, 22 wins- 13 losses, 23 wins - 11 losses. <<<<Are you people serious? Gesta? My goodness. Wake me up when Gesta actually face a real journeymen with actually a GOOD record.

Exactly, Gesta is way over his head. Yes, he is talented, but he's not powerful enough to put so much as a dent in Rios, who will walk through Gesta's punches and just pound away at the guy.

You're right, but you gotta figure this is an old thread. At the time, Rios just got done fighting his first quality opponent (Anthony Peterson) and disposing him.

Gesta has the speed to ko Rios, but Rios would **** him up at this point, maybe later Gesta.
