Thursday June 14 @ Fantasy Springs Casino, Indio, California for the vacant WBO NABO Lightweight Title.

Manzanarez looks much bigger to be honest although he is only 5 ft 8 in compared to Gestas 5 ft 7 in. A bit awkward those numbers if we take a look at both fighters in their recent fights there might be a big difference in terms of size.

Gesta is tough as nails, was never stopped in his whole career but knocked down by huge punchers like Gilberto Gonzalez or Miguel Mendoza. Manzanarez is a big punching guy AND he will own the judges as it's a GBP event.

I liked Gestas performance vs Linares, i think he is a very tough guy who will coming foward here to neutralize the size differences and i do not know if Manzanarez can deal with that.

My first thought was Gesta via decision but i am leaning towards a stoppage win for Manzanarez.

No way is Manzanarez 5'8, he looks at least 5'11. He also has a lot of stoppages on his record, I think he stops Gesta as long as he comes in with the right gameplan.

He controls distance quite well, is lanky as hell, has a reach advantage, then when you add in the at times lackadaisical disinterested nature that Gesta fights with, when in with opponents who are capable of giving him a degree of trouble, I expect Manzanarez to either UD him or win via late TKO, although if it goes the distance, a robbery isn't out of the question.
