Kerobyan is attempting to herd Cobbs into a corner but eats a 1-1-2 for his trouble, learning quickly that Cobbs has quite a bit of hand speed to go with his readily apparent height & length advantage. Cobbs down, slip. Kerobyan already cut above the right eye. 1-2-3 by Cobbs. Lightning fast hands. Kerobyan gets pummeled into a corner. Lots of blood smeared all over Kerobyan's face now, definitely pouring liberally into his right eye, meaning he must be close to half blinded. Kerobyan standing his ground, jabbing and planting a lead right on the sternum. Cobbs staying outside, patiently sizing up Kerobyan with the southpaw jab and 1-2, picking his spots.

Hmm. Tall fast southpaw with good footwork and shot placement...unless his chin is absolute bone china, I think Cobbs is going to be a thorn in the side of many in the welter range for years to come..

Kerobyan is walking into right jabs & hooks, and Cobbs is defending well, backing into a corner but then dropping a level, shelled up and countering with a left uppercut before rising up to his full height and scampering past Kerobyan with a flutter of right jabs. Big surge upward from a peekaboo stance by Kerobyan, landing a hook and following up with a flurry as the crowd roars, but little is getting through cleanly. Nice stiff left jab by Kerobyan, nails Cobbs on the nose as he is laying against the ropes. Cobbs is jerking his upper body in and out to score his right jabs and slip Kerobyan's punches. Heavy right on the body from Kerobyan. Slick defense on the ropes by Cobbs, but Kerobyan is coming at him nonstop. BIG 1-2 by Kerobyan, grazing the side of Cobbs' afro.
