I read on FightNews that Joe Mesi pulled out of his fight with Sherman Williams scheduled for August 18 with another "back injury"....yawn...I was going to watch the PPV show for David Tua anyway and to see if Roman Greenberg is a real prospect.

    Back injury ?????

Maybe they couldnt make a deal with the Tank ??

You know --- to go in the Tank.

Besides --- the Tank can punch.

Mesi is not no "Ball of Fire".

    No chin.

    Good move to pull out.

    Why not?
You can't get a loaded card with these guys any place else. Top Rank's cards are one main and a bunch of nobodies. I can't tell you the name of anyone on a Golden Boy show. At least I know who Tua and Jeremy Williams are and want to find out about undefeated Greenberg. I want to see the big guys who can hit!

I'll be there live. Flying down to Utah and flying back after the weekend. I'm the most hopeless of David Tua fans. Met him once and hope to meet him again. He's a cool dude. Mesi pulling out isn't a big deal for me, it's kind of like watching a beat down car chugging along but doesn't get anywhere..in effect, he is pointless. Some people would say the same about Tua..but I'm a fan of his so I could care less :blurp.

Hoping to get word on the next Jean Pascal fight date as well sometime in the future. Been down to Montreal a quite a few times to see him fight, as well as catching two Bute fights which was a bonus.

Tua has looked terrible throught his comeback.

Mesi is atleast entertaining most of the time.

    Greenberg ain't ****.

Jeremy Williams? Didn't he almost get killed in his last fight?

This would be a cool FnF card, but to pay for it? No friggin' way.

:| Tua hasn't looked terrible..ok maybe he has. But show some respect for the guy that nearly took Ruiz's head clear off :bart.

Each of these boxers will probably make more than ESPN pays for a whole show ($20-25,000). So how can FNF show a card like this. THINK before you mouth off!
