Message to all Khan haters.

1) Some of you have a go at him for making more money than other boxers. For fighting on prime time when some World Champions who have had 50 fights make less money and are on a sky channel nobody watches.

thats not his problem. Boxers have a short career and Khan could get beaten at any time. better for him to walk away with millions than £30,000.

2) Some of you have a go at him for being with Warren.

Hennesey, Maloney and the rest would not have been able to get Khan the exposure, money and guarenteed winning of purse bids that Warren can get him. Most of the best young fighters are with Warren for a reason.

3) Some of you have a go at his level of opposition, but then say he is no where near ready for a world title shot.

He has fought a higher level of opposition than any other fighter after 15 fights in this country for the past 5 years. What level of opposition should he be facing if he is not ready for a world title, maybe former world title challengers like..................Graham Earl

4) Some of you say Graham Earl was shot.

Maybe so, but nobody in the lightweght division would of beat Earl in one round and that inlcudes the Diaz's and Katsidis.

5) Some of you say that he is avoiding Thaxton

He clearly wants to fight Thaxton and Thaxton has turned bown £100,000 to fight him which is dobule what he has made for any other fight. Hennasey offerd £300,000 to be split 50/50. If khan is selling 90% of tickets and bringing in the tv money, 50/50 is ridiclious, especially when 150k is less than half of what Khan normally gets.

6) Some of you say and Olympic medal doesn't mean much in the pros and alot of medalist fail like Audley Harrison.

For every Audley Harrison there is a Ali, Leonard, Mayweather, Taylor, Holyfield, Lewis, Jones Jnr. Thats some of the best fighters of all time, and how old were they when they one those medals, not 17 thats for sure.

7) Some of you say he will loose when he fights for a world title

Perhaps, but he is in one of the best divisons domesticly and globaly at the moment.

8) You critisise his chin.

Maybe so, but make no refrence to his obvious skill, heart, speed and power. there are plenty of fighters that had questonable chins that have gone on to be World Champions.

9) You want him to loose just to proove a point.

Instead of getting behind possibly the best prospect Britain has ever had.


Look guys im sorry for harping on but all i see on this bloody site is people critisicing Khan, instead of getting behind him which is what we should be doing. He has the potential to be the best fighter we have ever produced.

 

What half decent fighter doesn't think there better than potential opponents. Do you want him to say "yeh thaxton is really good he might know me out in the 10th but i give myself a ****"

Hes got to big himself up i don't think hes been disrespectful without them doing it back or doing it first.

Again, whats wrong with being overpaid. he sells out arenas and gets 6mil viewers you telling me he should get paid £10,000 a fight.

He is also quite clearly not ducking thaxton, perhaps warren is but more likley thaxton is pricng himself out of the fight.


OH AND WHO ARE YOU KHAN HATERS GOING TO SAY HE IS DUCKING IF HE BEATS THAXTON...............John Murray LOL!

 

Who doesnt fight no hopers in there first 10 fights.

Fighters that are world champions like Rees didnt deserve shots and fighters like Jamie Moore who has never really fought above domestic level is calling for a title shot.

Khan is the wrong style for alot of fighters including current world champions.

John Thaxton does deserve a decent pay day, say double his previous high purse............he turned that down.

I did say for every Harrison there is a Ali.

If he mved up to LW/W he would beat Gavin Rees. if he was bigger his better than champions at LH/W and if he was smaller F/W.

His bad chin is not enough to stop the hype.

So far he has backed up his claims by stopping pretty much everyone he has been in with.

 

You can still see huge potential in someone whether there fighting bums or world beaters. He was beating guys in half the time that other prospects took.

Yeh and Khan will be going for Euro oweners soon to. Name me your top 10 fighters and I could tell you a knob head thing they have down or said for most of them. (I don't rate Jamie Moore but i say fair play to anyone trying to win a world title)

Yeh i think he would beat David Diaz, i would put him 50/50 with Katsidis as earl dropped him and Khan is 1000 times the pucnher Earl was. No i wouldnt put him over Juan Diaz but he would cause him problems. Khan is quick and would hit Juan Diaz alot, but Diaz would be to much for him at this point. ALL I SAID WAS HIS STYLE WOULD CAUSE THEM PROBLEMS.

He got up in the next round and destroyed a fighter that had only ever lost to Alex Arthur and had won his last 10 fights in a row.

I think 100k is good money for Thaxton, alot of fighters have got less for bigger fights when champion.

I wasnt saying he was Ali, but he does have the potential to be as good as those guys.

I was saying his skills in a Light Heavyweight, he would be a World Champ already as its a weak divison, same if he was a Featherweight. Lightweight is on of the strongest divisions in terms of its Champions.










If you can find me an actual former boxer, current boxer that is not his rival, or boxing writer that doesn't beleive Khan will be a world champion and a top level elite one, please post a link of the ariticle.

 

OK Juan Diaz has 99% been stripped of the title, so Katsidis is now Champion.

Nate Campbell who is ranked 3rd is fighting Diaz for 2 other belts so he is out the rankings, pushing Khan up to 3rd.

The dannish guy is 2nd so if Khan beats him he will go 2nd. Anthony Peterson is 25-0 with 17 or so KOs is ranked number 1 so they will fight an elimintor for the title.

I think though that by the time Khan and Peterson have fought, Katsidis vs Diaz will have happend so if Khan wins the title it will have to be agaisnt Diaz.

Potentially Pacman could fight Diaz by then, and they both move up, and the belts would be vacant and the divison would be weaker, and Kha gets a belt or two at L/W
