I actually (very lightly) mentioned this in another Khan thread :smoke but didn't make much of it as coming from the US, i may have sounded slightly biased. But i do believe that u guys have a top talent over here and i completely agree with the original poster.

I'm of the opinion that Khan and his backers will sooner or later ship him over to the States and he will reap the benefits. From the outside, I do think u guys have a star in the making, though, and a future (meaningful) champion.

Funny I thought Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank, Steve Collins and Henry Wharton were all slightly ahead of Mark Delaney and Joe back then? :huh

My original post from a few months ago still stands!!

I'm a big Khan fan, but let's not by kidded by the ITV 'experts'. Kristiansen was barely fringe world class. BoxRec have him about 50 in their ranking while the IBO computer ranking have him 24. He's about British title challenger level and no more. A decent performance by Khan but as far as I can see he's not actually learning much under his present regime and needs to improve(which he CAN do) but he needs to train regularly in the US gyms under the worlds top coaches

How respected in the trade is Khan's trainer? I'd never laid eyes on him until I first saw Khan fighting on ITV. I'm not suggesting he's not a good trainer just that I'd never heard of him before.

Boxrec have Jamie Moore as number 7 at light heavy, proof there ratings are bull****, computer rankings do not work!
