LMAO let Floyd flaunt his money. We all know he'll be broke in the end anyway. There is no way he can have that much money when he retires, main reason he came back in the sport. All this is just a lure to make people watch the fight on may 1st. True boxing fans will watch the fight but Floyd is doing this for the casual fans to want to see him get beat.
I understand that Floyd plays up a bit to the bad boy/cartoon villain role, but do you honestly think that the Floyd we see is 100% because of this play acting? My opinion is that what we see is partly down to this play acting plus partly down to the fact that Floyd is not a very nice person. Yes, he hams it up a bit because it puts more dollars in his pocket because people will pay to see him hopefully be knocked out. But i believe that he is just excentuating his natural personality. That natural personality being arrogant, money obsessed, self obsessed and insecure.
At the same time he's the only boxer currently that has his own charity foundation...I don't see any of the "good boys" of boxing having one?:huh
Sorry, i may have worded that wrong when i said he wasn't a very nice person. I had a few drinks during the Froch - Kessler fight so im a bit drunk. I don't mean that he is evil or anything like that. I'm sure his hearts in the right place. I just believe that there are quite a few parts of his personality that rub people up the wrong way (arrogance, money obsessed, etc).
Never disagreed here. If he can play it up to its max to make moar cash then why not? People do much worse things than being annoying for $.
people watch him because they like the boxer hes against, or like floyd skills and hope hele be pushed too his limit and entertain them. i know ide neve give a guy i didnt like money just incase he lost!. This obession with talking bout how much money meeans to him is unhealthy, its not big o clever, its a bad example to people who do look up too him,im sure floyd aint as rich as he says even if he lives bette than most ever will, but when hes gone ,wewont say o didnt floyd have a lot of money, wele talk about his fights and his legacy which one minute he says he fights for but the next he doesnt care for and he only fights fo money, how shallow. maybe floyd not very interesting when theres no one looking and the camera are off so he needs to act to compensate for lack of charisma and personality. a true fighter find pride in what hes achieved, whos he beaten, how he beat them, not numbers and how much paper he gambles away and splashes about.
boo hoo...there is a lot worse in this world.....and facts are there is probally some of them on this forum judging by the comments made about fighters....stop whining about what he does with his money geesh...if he goes broke or not does the shyt really matter?
I don't care what he does with his money but I would like to see a little more about boxing in 24/7 and nothing about his money and cars and watches but that's what he makes the show about. Oh and cheap trash talking about mosley as well. Dude has no class.
definitely agree with the highlighted portion. me personaly though i hve enjoyed all the 24/7's no matter who is fighting...very good for the sport as is the 360 show.
The show has two complete dimensions. It goes from unprofessional ****tards (Mayweather camp) to a religious team (Mosley camp).
