I've been embarrassed by a boxing match before (Leonard-Duran III comes to mind) but last nights' event really was the nadir of my years of watching boxing. No problem with Fury coming back and fighting a no-hoper, because he was years out of the ring and out of shape. Ok, fine. But his disrespect for his opponent, his fans, and the sport of boxing is way over the top. His actions prove he couldn't care less about the people that pay to see him perform. The arena was filled with his fans, including many celebrities, all paying good money and supporting him. And the arena was half empty before the ignominious end of the so-called "fight". And what does he do? He acts like a clown, a circus act, a ****** from a zoo. I don't mind that he disrespects himself but he disrespects ALL OF US. I curse Wlad Klit daily for not KO'ing this POS and sending him into the dustbin of history where he belongs.
Bloody hell Frank in Dallas your not happy are you. Well as a fury fan I knew what last night was guna bring so wasn't upset when it played out as badly as it did. Luckily there was a couple of interesting undercard fights to actually give us a bit of boxing plus it were just a warm up to the bigger fights in America later on. I'm glad he's back and if he has any ambition he won't be able to get away with so many antics as he fights proper heavies.
I'm happy....Fury isn't going to make me unhappy. I'm more like disgusted in the sport of boxing that a human fecal pellet like Fury could clown his way to a HW belt.
The first 2 rounds of Fury vs. Seferi actually made the first 2 rounds of Mayweather vs. McGregor look pretty decent in comparison. Last night's was literally the worst fight I've ever saw.
