...but I WILL want a reply - when you say there is a lot of bull**** in a post made in good faith, you need to back that up, buddy!:thumbsup

Ok first of all, Andrade came sparring with Pascal 1-2 years ago in Montreal and that before Bute became champion.

He also needed a trainer to improve is D and Howard Grant was one of the best to do it and they knew each other since Andrade fought Otis a few years ago.

So Andrade hires Howard and comes to train in Montreal, where the Grant Gym is. He spars with fighters that train there like Demers who was his main sparring parter for the Steilglitz fight since their styles are similar so whats the problem? Demers improves from this experience and Andrade gets ready for his fight so wheres the problem?

If he hired Stéphane Larouche to train him for a fight with Pascal (If he was the champ) for example, wouldn't he spare with Bute (If he was a contender) ?

Hmmm...and would it be allright if Larouche traind him and Bute sparred with him to prepare him to beat Pascal? :huh

Or are you suggesting I would be just fine with the situation as long as the shoe was on the other foot?:huh

Yes as it would benifit both Bute and Andrade

    No...because it would be WRONG!

Bute should not spar fighters that might ALSO help him improve in the process, but principally to help his sparring partner get better so that he can then beat his "Monteal rival". Instead, he should spar the kind of fighters that would make him prepare for HIS own fights, whilst not paying attention to what Pascal, or anyone else, does. This applies even more so to the case when his sparring partner's opponent is a fellow Montreal fighter. (i.e. most of BOTH of their fans and well-wishers will be the same people)

    Good, because I don't like myself when I'm hypocritical.:good

I don't like this foul way of going about things, I absolutely don't want Andrade having any unfair advantages in the up coming fight with Bute.

I'm more an Andrade fan than a Bute fan, but the best man has to win always, GYM's nonsense here is ridiculous and corrupt. Andrade is a good guy, who would also do whatever he's told as he wants to support his family, the reason he boxes.

That being said, Andrade TKO 10 Bute is my prediction, but this type of **** almost makes me want to back Bute even being more a fan of Andrade, because Bute is being given a raw deal.:good

In pure boxing terms, you won't mind Bute winning a good tough fight against Andrade, would you? I mean, if he does win clearly, would you not become more of a fan of Bute's style than of Andrade's?

Howard Grant is just not one of the greatest trainers in the world.

His name had cropped up a couple of times when people were discussing top trainers...

Don't pay attention to that troll. All he does is talk**** the Montreal boxing scene. Read his posts they are so biased...

If Bute wins decisively, I'll still like Andrade more so. Bute is a good boxer, but even if he became a lot better I still won't enjoy his style at all, so I'll still be a fan of Andrade more so and just give Bute the credit he deserves.

Bute bored me against Berrio and Joppy. Boxers like Kessler entertain me with their constant precision and fluidity, Bute just doesn't have this.

Well, you haven't seen Bute against Thysse, for example; he is the closest Bute ever came to fighting an Andrade, by the way. He was certainly not boring there. In any case, Bute has been frustrating lately because he fought too hesitantly, but against Andrade, unless he runs, which I've never seen Bute do, he'll fight more like he fought Thysse, and even the harshest critic of Bute will have to be impressed...:good
